Gesegnete Pfingsten - Blessed Pentecost

Euch, Ihnen allen gesegnete Pfingsttage!
*** It's been almost a week since we ended our Bible Dialogue on the Holy Spirit and there has been much food for thought. What is the Holy Spirit, where and how does it work? Those were our main topics in those days on Schwanenwerder. Are we too demanding or do we not trust enough in God to help us? Do we pray for God to know what ails us?Maybe we pray because we need to be aware of our need for God and thus open up for all help or comfort or solace that God#s Holy Spirit may give us. It was a blessing to get to speak with people from free church communities as well as "regular" church members: in our group of participants and with the Hillsong-team, who gave us a warm and generous welcome and also very good and inspiring talks. Showing people ways to find Jesus, letting them feel what the good message, the Gospel means in our lives, that is one of our tasks as Christians, whether we are Protestants, Catholics, Baptists, Methodists.... And there are many ways to take. I actually really like the worship at my Church, Berlin Cathedral, with organ music, liturgy and an inspiring sermon. I look forward to meeting with people there who know me and who are happy to see me. Soon we will celebrate Pentecost and i am sure some of the Bible Dialogue's thought will come back to me. Is there be space in me, in our churches where the Holy Spirit can blow as s/he likes? Blessed Pentecost to you all!
