Music is a gift from God - Bible Dialogue in Romania

Martin Luther loved music, becasue to him it is a gift from God and not man-made and because it gives our souls joy and lets anger, greed and arrogance disappear. To Luther, music came right after theology.

This year we will once more take a Bible Dialogue to Romania and we will not just talk but sing. We hope for many joyful and talented singers because we plan a little choir concert in the village church of Cisnădioara (Michelsberg).
We will not be able to arrange for translation to English this time, but music connects people more than words can do. Apart from singing and looking for biblical passages on music and song we will hear about Luther's love for music and of course learn about the German minority in Transsylvia. We will take look at the beautiful city of Hermannstadt (Sibiu) and take a day trip to Mediaș where we can see one the famous fortified churches of the region.
