Today I finished the flyer for our study conference on "Faith, Theology and Science" rom April 16 to20, 2015). The days when religion was considered opium for the people seem to be over. Neuroscientists and biologists are taking another look at the phenomenon of faith. Do molecules have more power over us than we would like to think? Are we on our way towards a „new materialism“ where our thinking and being is no more than a consequence of chemical processes? And why do people flock to religious fundamentalists with their aversion to science? In lectures, discussions and Bible study, we will try and find answers to these questions. Nichts als Hirngespinste? Just a trick of the mind?
In Vorträgen, Diskussionen
Spur kommen.
