Trost in schweren Zeiten. Comfort in hard times

DER PROPHET DEUTEROJESAJA, das Trostbuch der Bibel, steht im Mittelpunkt unseres Theologiegrundkurses für ehrenamtlich engagierte Gemeindeglieder vom 29. April bis 3. Mai 2015 in Berlin. „Ich will in der Wüste wachsen lassen Zedern, Akazien, Myrten und Ölbaume; ich will in der Steppe pflanzen miteinander Zypressen, Buchsbaum und Kiefer, damit man zugleich sehe und erkenne und merke und verstehe: Des Herrn Hand hat dies getan, und der Heilige Israels hat es geschaffen.“ (Jesaja 41,19+20) Tröstende Worte und hoffnungsvolle Bilder sind die Stärken der Kapitel 40 bis 55 bei Jesaja. Kein anderes Prophetenbuch hat so intensiv mitgeholfen, das Leben und die Sendung Jesu deuten zu können und zu verstehen. Seien Sie eingeladen, Bildern von blühenden Wüsten, von Gottes Kommen in die Welt, vom Neuanfang und seinem Trost ganz neu zu begegnen: im Gespräch, im kreativen Miteinander, singend, feiernd. Es geht auch darum, Sehgewohnheiten zu ändern und miteinander neu hinsehen zu lernen. Kommen Sie mit uns nach „Neu-Seh-Land“. Worum geht es uns? Wir wollen miteinander fragen und miteinander Antworten finden. Wo wurde ich schon einmal zu einem neuen (Hin-Sehen aufgefordert? Was hilft mir, Dinge neu oder anders zu sehen? This conference will be in German only. The Book of the Second Isaiah is a book of comfort in hard times: "I will put in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive; I will set in the desert the cypress, the plane and the pine together, so that all may see and know, all may consider and understand, that the hand of the Lord has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created it. (Isaiah 41, 19-20) There are of words of solace and images of hope and like no other prophetical book, it has helped interpret and understand the coming of God and the mission of Jesus. At our conference we will try to find new ways to look at life - in discussion, creatively, in song and in celebration.
