VISIONS OF CHURCH - VISIONEN VON KIRCHE

Heute beginnt schon der nächste Bibeldialog. Es geht uns diesmal um Visionen von Kirche. Dass Kirche so bleibt, wie sie ist, war ja eigentlich von Anfang an nie geplant und wir sehen auch heute, dass lebendige Kirche immer eine in Bewegung ist. Klar, wer sich im Jetzt und Hier wohl fühlt, ist nicht so begeistert, wenn immer wieder alles anders wird, und wohin soll es überhaupt gehen? Wir wollen Kirche Jesu Christi sein und wie das aussehen soll, wird jede Generation und jedes Land ein wenig anders definieren. Finden wir wohl zusammen? Unsere Teilnehmer*innen kommen aus Deutschland, der Schweiz, Lettland, Ukraine, Rumänien, Portugal, Ungarn und den Niederlanden; sie sind von Anfang 20 bis Anfang 80, Theolog*innen und aus anderen Berufen. Sehr viel bunter geht es nicht. Wir alle wollen unsere Visionen von Kirche miteinander teilen und wer weiß, vielleicht auch ganz neue Visionen entwickeln. 
Today we begin another Bible Dialogue. This time about our visions of church. It was never intended that the Church remain as it is. Living Churches and congregations tend to be lively and open to change. Sure, if one feels good in the here and now, it is hard to accept that there will always be something new. And where is all this supposed to go?  We want to be the Church of Jesus Christ and what we understand by that, might be a little different in every generation and in every country. Will we find common grounds?  We will be Christians from Germany, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Latvia, Portugal, Switzerland and the Netherlands, between 20 and 80 years of age, theologians and other professions. It cannot get much more diverse. We want to share our visions for a living church with each other and maybe find some new ones as well.
