Four days are not enough ...

... and so we started this blog, so you can comment on the past conference or continue to share your thoughts with one another. A few days after every Bible Dialogue I will post a few thoughts for you to read and comment on.

Begegnungen in Berlin und online

EUROPÄISCHE BIBELDIALOGE. Begegnungstagungen sind eine Art Denkwerkstatt für Gemeinden, in denen Bibeltexte und Fragen unserer Zeit diskutiert werden. Bis 1989 galt es, die innerdeutsche Grenze zu überschreiten, heute werden Grenzen in ganz Europa überquert. Aktuell können fünf bis sechs Bibeldialoge in Präsenz stattfinden, einige auf Anfrage mit Übersetzung (englisch-deutsch). Darüber hinaus gibt es monatlich Angebote online. Mehr Informationen finden Sie auf der Homepage der Evangelischen Akademie zu Berlin, unter deren Dach die Tagungen seit 2007 veranstaltet werden: https://www.eaberlin.de/. Seit 2023 werden sie nicht mehr finanziell durch die UEK getragen und so gibt es jetzt viel online und nur wenige Präsenztagungen.

Encounters in Berlin and online

EUROPEAN BIBLE DIALOGUES.encounter conferences represent a kind of European think tank for church communities, where Bible texts are discussed as well as the issues of our time. Until 1989, participants needed to cross the inner German border – today the encounters are about crossing borders all over Europe. Five to six European Bible Dialogues are planned this year in Berlin, Poland and Romania, on request with simultaneous interpretation (English-German). Monthly online encounters – as of now – are in German only. You will find more information on the Protestant Academy's homepage: https://www.eaberlin.de/. Since 2023 we are not being subsidiezed by the Church anymore so much more happens online, and only few encounters can happen in a real place.
