Love your (European) neighbour as yourself?! Theological reflections on the European elections

The elections to the European Parliament will take place from June 6 to 9, 2024. a reason to take a closer look at how we, as Christians are thinking about the politics in our countries and in Europe as a community. We will take a look at the Statement on European Elections by the Communion of Protestant Churches in Europe (CPCE) and reflect on what our vote might have to do with the commandment to love our neighbour.

That we could win two guest speakers from England, who will of course not vote in  June, because Great Britain left the EU, adds to the perspectives we hope to bring together on May 17th. We hope for an international group of participants, so please, check if you have time in May. We will begin at 5 pm and end with a prayer at about 9 pm (Berlin time).
