ALL WORK AND NO PLAY

We begin a new seminar, this time for young Europeans. The topic will be work or labour. The English language has two words for the one word "Arbeit" in German. We will visit the Federal Ministry for Labour and Social Affairs tomorrow morning and hear some interesting papers on Minimum Wages as well as Unconditional Basic Income. But, as always in European Bible Dialogue we wil also have time to get to know each other and each other's culture and backgrounds, and last not least we will see how very up to date the bible can be, this time when it says that the Sabbath is for the people not the other way around. But is Sunday shopping also for the people or who really profits from that?
