Two days ago our bible dialogue on Kohelet began (Ecclesiastes), best known, if at all, by his words on "a time and season for everything". From the first evening it was clear that we would have much to discuss. Kohelet’s social criticism has much to say to us today. He questions the race of competitiveness and the resulting loneliness of the individual. Is really all that we build with trouble and pain in vain? Does it all come and go like the wind? And is not a gentle breeze a joy, even though it may pass without a trace? I look forward to further discussions.
