GEMEINSCHAFT DER HEILIGEN. COMMUNITY OF SAINTS?

Wer oder was ist heilig? Eine Gemeinschaft der Heiligen, was mag das bedeuten? Ich fühle mich eigentlich gar nicht heilig – gehöre ich also eher nicht dazu? Vom 7. bis 11. Juli 2021 wollen wir das beim Familien-Bibel-Workshop in Berlin herausfinden. Wie sieht (eine heilige) Gemeinschaft aus? Sind wir vielleicht doch heilig? Eigentlich ist doch nur Gott heilig, weil er so ganz anders ist als alles, was Menschen in dieser Welt kennen. Über Jesus haben wir Anteil an diesem Heilig-sein, weil wir an Gott glauben. Was aber bedeutet das in unserem Alltag? Was ist uns und in den Ländern Europas heute heilig?

Das sind Themen, die uns beschäftigen und es sicher ist eine gute Idee, dass wir sie zusammen mit Kindern und Erwachsenen, Jungen und Alten diskutieren und natürlich nicht nur diskutieren, sondernauch kreativ in Musik, Spiel und vor allem in Gemeinschaft erleben. Für Kinder im Alter von ca. 7 bis 14 Jahren wird zum Tagungsthema ein kindgerechtes Programm erarbeitet.

Für die Erwachsenen gibt es Übersetzung zwischen Englisch und Deutsch. Die Kinder sollten möglichst etwas Deutsch verstehen. Mehr Informationen finden Sie auf der Webseite der Evangelischen Akademie zu Berlin oder per Email an mich: hahn@eaberlin.de.

*** COMMUNITY OF SAINTS. Who or what is holy?

A community of saints, what can this mean? I do not actually feel like I am a saint. So, am I not part of this community? From July 7 to 11, 2021, we are going to find out about this in our Family Bible Workshop in Berlin. What does a community (of saints) look like? Maybe we are holy after all. But isn’t God alone holy, - because God is so much different from anything, we might know on earth? Still, through Jesus, we can have part in this holiness because we believe in God. But what does this mean in our daily lives today? What is holy to us and in the countries of Europe?

These are the topics we will look at and it is a good approach to discuss this with children and adults, young and old. And we will not just discuss this but also live it creatively, in song and in play. For children between approx. 7 and 13 years of age, there will be an age-appropriate programme.

For adults there will be simultaneous interpretation between English and German, Children should be able to understand some German.
